This is one of the two islands located in the Seine River in the center of Paris (the other is the Saint-Louis Island). There are also attractions on the island such as the famous Sainte-Chapelle and the ancient prison of Paris.

Remember the bookstore in the movie "Before Sunset"? Yes, you can see the very famous Shakespeare's Bookstore in Paris when you cross the bridge from Cité Island to the left bank. This is a sacred place for English literature lovers, and it is also a filming location for many literary and romantic films.

The island of Saint-Louis is connected to the island of Citadel by the bridge of Saint-Louis. This is a residential island, a quiet oasis in the center of bustling Paris. You can find the best ice cream in the legendary Berthillon in those staggered narrow alleys with TA! You can also look for other delicacies to fill up some hungry stomachs.

After crossing the island of Saint-Louis, came to the new bridge by the Seine. Although it is called the Pont Neuf, it is the oldest existing bridge in Paris. It was the first bridge built by the Bourbon dynasty when Henry IV moved his capital back to Paris. Nowadays, there is a statue of Henry IV in the center of the bridge. Many literati and "Lover on the New Bridge" have added a lot of literary flavor to it.

The first bridge to the west of the Pont Neuf is the Pont des Arts. This is the first metal bridge on the Seine. It may have been named because of the exhibition for painters and artists. It is now the most romantic bridge in Paris, from the world. Lovers everywhere locked their love on the bridge and threw the keys into the Seine.

Near the Pont des Arts is the world-famous Louvre. As one of the three largest museums in the world, the Louvre has a collection of approximately 400,000 pieces of art. The most famous are the "Three Treasures of the Louvre": Mona Lisa, Venus with a broken arm, and Goddess of Victory. The transparent pyramid building at the entrance of the main entrance is the masterpiece of the Chinese architect I.M. Pei. You can spend an afternoon here to savor it.

When you come out of the Louvre, you can stroll around in the Tuileries Garden, known as the "open-air museum". Order an ice cream or dessert in the famous dessert shop Angelina or Amorinod in the garden, and enjoy it while sitting by the large pond in the garden. It is a feeling of Paris. The white dome has a unique combination of Romanesque and Byzantine style. This is also one of the most popular places for young people, and it is very suitable for romantic group photos.

Then there is the small hill square where many street artists often gather, and it is also the cradle of many famous painters. Spanish painters Sadali, Picasso and other masters once painted here when they were young. There is also the Dali Art Museum which specializes in exhibiting his works near the square. You can ask street performers to make a picture for yourself here, or put some small works of art into your bag.

After that, walk for 10-15 minutes to the coffee shop where the heroine Amielie in the movie "Angel Loves the Beauty" works part-time to settle an afternoon meal.
